Emceed by the incomparable Daniel Handler! Two teams of award-winning poets--Tongo Eisen-Martin, David Tomas Martinez, Brittany Perham, Brynn Saito, Sam Sax and Melissa Stein take turns batting at topics pitched to them by the audience.

Fastballs, curveballs, knuckleballs: these poets won't know what's coming next! Hilarity guaranteed. Eminently qualified umpires Vanessa Hua and Dan Bellm will score each batter's reading, and the winning team takes the series title. Book sale/signing follows the reading.

Tickets are $5 in advance/$10 at the door. Doors open at 6:30--arrive early for the best chance at a seat. Don't forget to bring a topic to stump the poets with!
